You can change your coverages at any time, but most upgrades (such as adding new coverage) require canceling your current policy and starting a new one.
- When you do this, your waiting periods will reset.
- Any condition your pet was seen for before the new policy starts may be considered pre-existing, even if it was previously covered.
Some downgrades (like removing coverage) can be done mid-year or at your yearly renewal without canceling the policy.
