Any submitted appeal should clearly state why you disagree with the initial determination, a letter from your veterinarian with an explanation of the condition/incident, and any other supporting medical documentation.
Please email support@nibbles.com with a completed Appeal Form (PDF) and supporting documentation from your veterinarian.
Our goal is to process your appeal as quickly as possible. Typically, we processes appeals within 14 business days however it can take up to 30 days for more complicated medical conditions or pets with extensive medical history.

- Email your appeal to claims@kanguroinsurance.com within 90 days of the EOB (provided when the claim is close) or dispute notice (or as soon as reasonably practicable).
- Receipt will be acknowledged within 5 business days; and you will receive an appeal response within 30 business days of receiving all requested information (or you will be updated monthly if the appeals processing time is longer).
- If you disagree with the determination: request a second review within 30 days. An impartial Veterinarian or Director (appointed and paid by the company) conducts it and a decision is delivered within 5 business days of receipt and is final.
