Does pet insurance cover flea and tick prevention?

Great question! While our insurance plans do not cover flea and tick prevention, we do offer an optional Wellness Care plan to help cover wellness and preventative care items such as flea/tick medication, heartworm medication, microchipping, and more!

¹ Upon approval and enrollment in the Nibbles Card, cardholders receive free Nibbles pet insurance coverage, subject to it’s own eligibility requirements. Coverage is provided up to $10,000 annually, conditional on maintaining an active cardholder status in good standing. Nibbles may expand eligible categories and merchants for rewards and benefits at its sole discretion. Updates will be communicated in the program terms. All other purchases earn 1 point per $1 spent. ³ The Nibbles Rewards Credit Card (“Nibbles Card”) is issued by Lead Bank, Member FDIC, under license from Mastercard International and can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted. The card has a $249 annual fee. The variable APR is based on the U.S. Prime Rate + 17.74% (currently 26.24%) and is subject to change (max 29.99%). Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, or a permanent resident with a valid SSN or ITIN. Card membership is subject to eligibility and credit approval.
