No to both. Filing claims doesn't cost you extra, and it won't raise your yearly rate.
As your pet ages, a senior pet fee may apply. If so, you'll get an email at least 30 days before your renewal with the new rates and details.
Your rate isn't based on your pet's past health issues or claims, it's determined by factors like age, breed, and inflation.
